Well, Sanzo and I stayed all three hours and turned in our membership papers to a Mid-Singles ward today. We even stayed for the pot luck dinner they had afterwards. Go us. So it's back to work today, but the phone call I got from her majesty yesterday said I'd be helping set up a show, then could go home. This was not a true thing. We went from Kanab to St. George on Saturday, and came back to Las Vegas today. We're going to have to get up and the butt-crack of dawn to turn the rental car back in and catch our 6 am flight. Yesterday we were spontanious and checked out Zion Lodge in Zion National Park. On the way in, we saw beautiful scenery and mountain goats. Right on the road. They had vacancies, so we stayed. Did laundry, made jewelry for the queen, packed for my trip to Southern Utah. I'll come home after work tomorrow (yay) and we'll fly out in the evening. Gone for a week, but taking the computer, because, well, yeah. I have clothes. I have a few things to keep me occupied. Do I need anything else? At least I'll finally get to see the Grand Canyon.

So, technically, today was total win. I got up, did 3.5 hours of work for the queen (40 pairs of the same type of earring), went on a 3 mile walk in gorgeous, breezy 68 degree weather, showered and then watched four episodes of "Avatar: The Last Airbender" with Sanzo so I could catch up with my friend's Avatar re-watch and attempt to add to the ( Read more... )

I am trying to be excited about tomorrow. The plan is to go down to NC and attend Kingdom 12th Night. It should be fun. I finished my jester tunics. They look great. I can run the errands I need to run tomorrow before I head down. This should be fun. But instead I feel very little. Should I go? Should I stay? Will I care, either way?

We got snow today. It was very unexpected, and then the fact it got thicker and started sticking was even more unexpected. It's been in the 40s-60s recently, not the 30s. They let Dad out of the rehab hospital today. He's worked his butt off for a couple of days till they weren't sure why he'd been sent there in the first place. This is the Christmas wish we all wanted the most of all.
