MOUNTAIN GOATS! Ask Sanzo why that's funny.
Yesterday we were spontanious and checked out Zion Lodge in Zion National Park. On the way in, we saw beautiful scenery and mountain goats. Right on the road. They had vacancies, so we stayed. Today, Mom and I went on a short hike and saw some great views. This afternoon I took a three hour trail ride and saw some more great views and a bunch of mule deer. It was nice to see some of the larger wildlife in the area. I'm sure I'll be feeling the ride tomorrow, but it was totally worth it. It's been too long since I've been on a horse. We had a nice dinner, and are curled up for the night. Tomorrow, we'll head back to Kanab, then to St. George for a bit. The road to the North rim of Grand Canyon, however, is closed. Ah well, some other time.
