So I totally thought I had an exam tomorrow. But I totally don't, which is excellent, because if it was on tomorrow I was going to do quite poorly

Bach's Italian Concerto is great. It's grade 8, but you could sightread it. The second movement is deliciously complex whilst remaining quite easy to play due to being very slow.
Otherwise, maybe some Debussy, because how can you not love Debussy? I think i did 'Reverie' in grade 7. And then prelude 1 from 'Preludes 1,' lol. That is a great piece.
Uh, clearly i'm showing the Slow Music love. If you want something faster, I have Haydn's Sonata in E flat No.3 in a REALLY ancient AMEB book 7. That's a cute piece. It also has a Mozart 'Gigue in G' K574 which sounds great but is really technically challenging. I tried learning it a while ago and only ever got it sounding half-ok. It's very satisfying, though. I recommend this one if you are bored. I really like it. I'm trying to think of an intellectual way of saying "i love this piece fo' shizzle". Tell me, if you decide to do this one. I found it a real bitch to sightread. Lots of accidentals and jumping around. But, lots of repetition also, so not very long.
Thanks ^_^ I also have the Slow Music Love. Though, in my case it's specifically Slow German Romantic Music Love. Which is kinda why I think I need to branch out. I think I'll try and find a copy of the Mozart gigue at the library tomorrow. It sounds intriguing (and will probably give me a good kick in the pants, which is probably what I need to come back down to earth) and also will endeavor to find the Bach concerto. Thanks again!
