His attention caught a slight movement in the grass ahead of him and his ears perked. He crouched, predatory as he separated this new scent from the others. He snuck up to it stealthily and pounced, just missing his target.
”You're it!!!”
“Am not! You missed me! You’re still it!” Mouse gave a squeak and bolted off.

“But there are so many people…” He blushed, glancing around at the throng of people around them, and back to the sylph.
She laughed and started dancing, coaxing him to join her with a teasing grin. She glanced up later as the vibrations rising from the floor faded and smiled at everyone coupling off.
“One more?”
Flushed, he smiled in return, nodding and took her into his arms. Veris wrapped her arms around him and nuzzled his cheek as they swayed together.
As the song drew to a close, he paused, drawing back to gaze into her eyes before kissing her deeply.

Essence shivered, snuggling into the arms around him. A graceful hand settled on his thigh, stroking its length slowly. He purred softly, sleep falling away as he opened his eyes. Saint peered back at him with a lazy smirk.
Essence’s eyes widened. “How much did I drink?”

Dock/Tareque.
I had to. ::Giggles:: Doesn't have to be really smutty... ~_^ Whatever you feel like.
What can I say? I've never gotten the image of the pounced tumbling troll out of my mind. ::Gigglefits::

Tareque started to turn on his heel to leave when the gigantic man flipped out of the tree and landed in front of him. They stood watching each other coolly, the silence dragging out until it was nearly unbearable.
“Oh, for fuck’s sake, Tareque, if you don’t know by now that you look absolutely adorable in them…”
Tareque’s eyes widened in indignation and he launched himself at Dock with a half-hearted sneer. Laughing, Dock erected a shield just in time, as he caught the liche and they tumbled to the ground. They rolled to a stop and Dock looked down at him with an affectionate, longing smile.

“I’m sorry…” She turned with a sob and walked down the hall.
“No… no, Sev, please, don’t go…” Cai whispered through his tears, finding his hands and squeezing them, “Oh, gods, it should have been me…”
“Shh…” The dying man shook his head as he reached up, trembling as he touched the mage’s cheek. “I love you…”
Cai choked back a sob. “I love you, too.”

He slumped against the wall with a shaky sigh and tried to calm the pounding of his heart. His Master asked him to deliver to the Court librarian, and though he had the directions memorized, Cai was utterly lost. He hated it more than anything he could imagine.
He barely heard the soft footsteps approaching him through the thunder in his ears.
“Can I help you?” Eliasan asked softly, watching the trembling young apprentice.
The young man looked up, and the traces of magic around his eyes quivered, failing as he was overcome with relief at the gentle reassurance in that voice.
“I’m lost.” He tried to keep his voice from wavering.
The assassin frowned. Joulaim would have to wait.
