My fiancé doesn’t fit the French stereotype. In fact, until I started coming around, he never bought baguettes. Like, how is that possible? LOL culture shock with cheese. I've visited France but never for a long time so I don't recall how I felt about the food. All I remember eating was escargot (I just had to try it) and croque monsieur. Have you had croque monsieur? It might be something you'd like based on your love of baguettes.

My husband won't eat bread or cheese. It makes me a little sad. But he's happy at least? I really am craving a baguette now. :D

This is so funny, I was giggling all the way through it… your stream of consciousness is delightful! 😊 My husband and I are huge cheese fanatics... if he’s let loose alone in the grocery store, I’m fairly certain he could blow our entire monthly budget on cheese. He’s a diabetic, so we have to have non-dyed cheese, and I have learned as a result the coloring is cheddar is not natural, it starts out white like mozzarella, but fortunately white cheddar is plentiful here in the states. I think I could probably lose myself in that store... if I ever make it to France one day, I would definitely have to check out a cheese specialty shop, but I’m not too big on the feet varieties, either! 😉
