I have become domestic. I think I like it. My life these past two days have consisted of cleaning, changing diapers, bouncing babies, sneaking outside for smokes during nap times or periods of overly large crying, bed time, nap time, and cutting up food. I have vacuumed, done multiple rounds of dishes (well loaded the dishwasher anyway), done so

Did The Boy get a job?

One thing I really like about my fiance is that we kind of have this unspoken understanding. I work a lot more than he does, so he's the one that does the lion's share of the housework. It makes be feel undomesticated (not a bad thing!), but it makes things feel more fair and balanced.

He starts at Walmart on Monday. The prison system down here seems to be looking at him pretty seriously for a co position, so I'm really hoping that pans out. We'll work about the same number of hours a week (while he's at Walmart anyway). I'm just a little bit more concerned about keeping the place clean. He gets left a honey do list though and does all of that every day he's home.

That's awesome! I didn't mean to sound judgey or anything. I just wanted to make sure you weren't stretching yourself too thin between employment and housework. :)

I am happy! It's weird, a year ago I would have never thought this is what would have made me happy.
