Does anyone know of coffee-shops or that sort of place that offer free wireless internet to their customers? A friend of mine in another state told me their dunkin donuts does this....but (a) I don't know of any near squirell hill/oakland/waterfront area (which is closest to me) and (b) I'd rather just be in a coffee shop. I ask simply because it

gullifty's has free wireless too, i have spent many evenings in their bar with cocktails and my work. highly recommended.

Reeeeeeeally. That is excellent to know. Their food sucks, but their Monday jazz night is pretty awesome, and if I can sit in there and sip cocktails and do work on my network that would be great. ;)

Not to change the subject too much, but do you know if there are there other places around oakland/squirrel hill/shadyside for more, er, "real" jazz than Gullifty's? People keep telling me that there are good places in other parts of the city, but I never seem to find the time to get out to them.

I've also forgotten name of the tea house on Murray, but it is on the corner of Beacon and Murray, and offers free wi-fi. Very laid back.

I know this is out of your area but may be of interest to others: If you ever end up on the Northside both the Monterey Pub on Monterey just up from North and Beleza (a fair trade organic etc etc coffee shop) on the corner of Buena Vista and Jacksonia have free wireless. I believe True on Western also has free wireless.

Also a bit out of your way, but possibly not for others... Forest Hill Cafe on Ardmore in Forest Hills has free wireless and is non-smoking.
