All I can recommend is PepBoys. If you have one of their free PepBoys rewards card, they'll even fix your flat for free.

Just about any tire shop can plug a flat (Assuming it's in a spot on the tire that CAN be plugged) but they'll charge between $15 and $30 for the service.

You could also get a DIY kit, but I don't recommend those, since they don't put a backing on the plug.

I've never had a problem with the Pep Boys on Route 51. A bit out of the way for someone that lives inside city, especially with that mess at Maytide and 88. But, that's the only shop I'll let work on my 1970 MGB GT :)

If there's nothing close to you (aside from the Pepboys currently being recommended) you could possibly get a tire patch kit from Walmart - with that and a spray bottle of water and a tiny bit of detergent you can find and patch the flat yourself?

I've actually had pretty good experiences with the Pep Boys in Shadyside and the one on McKnight.

And I know it's completely outside of your preferred zone, but just in case (and for anyone else reading): Mr. Tire in Allison Park is the most awful, incompetent, and rude place I've even been. Avoid.

I too abhor Pep Boys. National Tire and Battery has always given me good service, though not necessarily at a discount price.

If you're looking for less franchise-y type places, I recommend Randig's in Millvale. I've been getting my car work done there and have had good experiences with them, and they charge a lot less for labor than most places. They also have gotten me good deals on used tires when I needed them to pass inspection.
