restaurants around mt. lebanon

Hey guys! I don't live here, but i'll be in pgh for a few days this weekend dealing with some family stuff, and was wondering what some of your favorite restaurants were that i could easily get to from the mount lebanon area? I read through some of the memories, but i'm not too good with the area, and don't have too much of a concept of how long it ( Read more... )

You should check out posts in pghveg for some of the local vegetarian/vegan places. Sadly, I don't know of any that are in that (Mt. Lebanon/South Hills) neck of the road, tho.

Will you have a GPS in the car? That would help considerably.

thanks for the suggestion! i think my main obstacle at this point is to figure out what is reasonably close to where i'll be...once i have some perspective on how long it takes to drive to various areas, i think google and my phone might be the way to go :D

There's Aladdin's on the main drag (Washington Rd). T and parking garage are across the street.

Bistro 19 /is/ fantastic, but is rough on vegetarians.

I like the Maharaja indian restaurant on Banksville Rd. It's attached to a Days Inn, it's delicious, and for some reason there seems to rarely be anyone else there...
