I clicked on the "2009 Voter's Guide" link and got taken to a registration form. While I understand that it's necessary to input your home address in order to see which candidates will be on your ballot, it's also demanding to see your First and Last name plus email address before showing you the guide. This is shady and overall poor web design. I found a direct link to the guide at the bottom of the page, but it's not prominent or easy to find. Here it is:

Sorry, I like Planned Parenthood and I like that they provide voting guides, but I'm extremely disappointed at their shady, deceitful attempt to trick people into signing up for their mailing lists. There is no other explanation as to why the above link isn't be prominently displayed on their front page.

It's not shady or deceitful. If you don't want to put in the info, you don't have to. Put in a fake name if you want. Don't put an email. Anyway, the only way you're getting emails is if you check the box to stay updated on info.
