Election is coming up! Do you have an official photo ID?
Unless a new law is overturned in the next several days, Pennsylvania will require all voters to show a current, official photo ID on Election Day. If you're in Pennsylvania and don't have one, get one now. See this link to the state election site for information, and pass it on to anyone who might need it. -
If your polling place is at Brookline Elementary . . .
If your polling place in today's primary happens to be at Brookline Elementary, keep in mind that the polling place is not in the main building, but instead in back of it, inside a small, not very well-marked annex. Election Day: What's open & what's not
City, state, federal, county executive and county controller's offices will be open.
Federal courts will be open.
The Court of Common Pleas, Department of Court Records, sheriff, district attorney and county treasurer's offices will be closed.
Trash will be collected on schedule.
Post offices and state liquor stores will be open.
