The Elbow Room in Shadyside. Secluded, lovely atmosphere day and night, good food, good wine. It's my favorite first-warm-day patio restaurant.

Nicky's (in the north side) outdoor seating is lovely. And the food's great, too.

The Harris Grill! The front patio is a lot of fun, and the back tends to be quiet.

Pusadee's Garden---in lawrenceville. gorgeous patio with a working kitchen garden. very authentic, very fresh thai food. reservations are recommended to sit on the patio.

La Casa on Ellsworth Ave in Shadyside and Cafe Du Jour in the Southside down around 15th ish or so. Both have small, quiet, gorgeously landscaped patios.

GOodness, Cafe Du Jour is indeed fantastic. I had a cherry chile gazpacho there the other day, which was superb.
