I hang at the Map Room, Regent Square, quiet and understated, East End brews on tap, decent food, small place, may be noisy if a Pens game is on though.

Park House
403 East Ohio St. just off Cedar Ave.
Pittsburgh (North Side), Pa.
Phone: (412) 231-0551

This North Side bar is the oldest tavern in the city limits. It would be hard to tell since it looks so nice. A bar that lets you toss the peanut shells on the floor is down to earth.

Ha. My boyfriend loves it because the peanuts and popcorn are free and all you can eat.
