1. Yeah, those are all pretty close. Maybe also look at Edgewood and Forest Hills. Both will probably be cheaper than Squirrel Hill, but it depends on what sort of atmosphere you're looking for. If you want something more urban, SH or Shadyside is your best choice.
1. edgewood 2. pnc. i am ok with them. 3. Pittsburgh Pro Bicycles pghprobikes.com 5876 Forbes Ave, squirrel hill, (412) 521-2453 or Gatto Cycling & Fitness bicycle.gattocycle.com 7501 Penn Ave, (412) 731-9200
I agree. Pittsburgh Pro offers some of the best service. They're very knowledgeable, honest and friendly. I bought 4 of my last 5 bicycles (for myself and family) there.
My wife had a bad experience at Biketec trying to get me a Mtn inner tube once. Will never set foot in there again.
2. I love PNC. I'd recommend them to anyone. They've been so good to me. For example I got my account when I was 16 and opened a savings account when I was in college. The minimum for not getting charge is $400, and when I dipped a little below it for a few days, I got charged, but I went to the bank and asked about it and they told me sorry it's our policy and everything - BUT WAIT "you opened the account before we changed our policy about free student savings accounts - so we'll reverse the charges and give you a no minimum savings account."
That's just one example. They have absolutely great customer service.
