4/29: VOLUNTEER! EAT! DANCE! PACK BOOKS! @ The PACK-A-THON!
Book 'Em, Pittsburgh's books-to-prisoners program, is seeking volunteers who LOVE BOOKS to attend their PACK-A-THON!

Come along and volunteer with us-- Select and package books to be mailed to people who are self-educating while in prison. There will also be free vegetarian food, cool music

How terrific! I used the email address on the web site to inquire about some instructional materials that I can donate. Hopefully they will be appropriate. If so I will see you the 29th! I can get grocery bags. How many do you need?

We constantly need bags. Hundreds! We sometimes get grocery stores to donate cases of fresh paper bags, but we'd really prefer to "recycle" people's stashes of used ones. So bring along all you care to! :)
