you nailed the gwen of canon pretty well, the simple fact that she never thinks ahead about her actions and how they will affect others and herself. what did gwen think jack was going to do throw himself into her arms profess his undying devotion and love, suggest they run off together? sleepy ianto is an adorable ianto.

Sleepy Ianto is very cute indeed. But I liked Jack's shocked surprise best.

Gwen really never thinks things through! Of course, Gwen is largely oblivious to anything that isn't about Gwen, so no one should really be surprised. I feel bad for Rhys though - Gwen says she loves him, but would drop him in a heartbeat if she had the slightest chance with Jack.
And sleepy Ianto is completely adorable, who wouldn't choose him over Gwen?

No she doesn't think things through. I love how canon, despite loving Gwen, gives us so much material.
