How lame am I?

I'm baking sugar cookies.

In the appropriate shape of galaxies. I've got elliptical, spiral (fun!) and irregular.

Let me tell you, the irregular ones are hard. I just had to let them go and put red sprinkles on them to highlight how much dust there is in there.

I'm totally rocking out this thing called "College."

I've got four classes. In two of those classes, I have an A. In two others.. I should be getting a high B to an A, but, not sure. Grading is interesting on all of the things we've been doing.

Did I really miss a month? Things have been crazy..

Everytime I look at my phone to call people (Terran, Maria, Felicia.. All of you!) I get distracted. No, seriously. I went from using 800 minutes a month to 110. Seriously. Two months in a row, I've been throwing out eight hundred minutes. I don't even text any more!

Well, May kicked of rather well.

I'm extremely hopeful about one job prospect, with the Minneapolis Police Department. I went through an interview, and have submitted to a background check. I guess my family and friends have been getting letters from the backgrounds investigation unit. So did my boss, and probably all of my previous employers.

So, as many of you know, I was all set to close on Monday.

It didn't happen. Sad faces.

The ass-ociation was a farce. They're 30% delinquent on their dues.. and somewhere around 100k (actually, over that) in debt. The bank shook their heads. I'm approved, still, but no longer looking at that property. Mind you, this is highly unusual, and in no way ( Read more... )

Okay. Finally. We come down to it.

I close on the condo next Monday, at three-thirty in the afternoon. I'll actually be able to paint my own place. It's mine. I can do anything I want to it. I want swiss cheese walls? Why not. It's mine. (Not really the holey walls. It'll be tasteful, but bright!)
