I only know it by reputation; it's supposed to be very beautiful contryside. My photographer-friend spent a week driving around the Lake District taking pictures this fall. :)

This time of year the lake district is beautiful, I live near there. There are lots of lakes (as the name siggests) and the trees are wonderful you can go on all the boat trips.

Sounds bad when I describe it but its great.

Man, I never dream of a white christmas, I aaalllways want a nice sunny Christmas under my Christmas palm tree at my Christmas cabana while being served mai tais by my cabana boy who looks remarkably like Billy

It's famous for being beautiful, especially at this time of year. Possinly one of the few really unspoilt places left in the UK.

Most likely very reminesent of New Zealand for them where they liked girls and being together there.
