I started reading Lolita a little while ago. I knew it would be creepy, but man, somehow I was still surprised at how much it creeped me out. It was good though, enough to keep me reading through the squeamishness, too bad I left it at a friend's house and now I gotta wait until I go to NJ again to finish it.

Anyway, way I hope things start working out better for you-will you be TAing once the fall semester begins?

I figured when you mentioned NJ there was only one person it could be. How many Yankee friends do I have? :) I miss you.

And I'll be interning half days at a local middle school starting this August as part of a requirement for school. It's more like an apprenticeship if you ask me. The mentor teacher will be in charge most of the time, but I'll be asked to teach occasionally. In the spring semester, I'm required to intern full days at a high school.

So how's life?

I'm doing pretty well. I'll be doing grad work at University of Maryland and subbing for money. Teaching at the high school should be fun-good with the middle school!
