Does anybody else wonder what happened to all that Arthurian mythology we were supposed to get this season?

Has anyone else noticed the Orii religious imagery is rather Yoni-esque? Combined with the fire imagery, methinks there is subconscious reference to the women-fire-tyranny connection. Nothing like reinforcing old archetypes to hold back the progress of civilization. Hmmm. :-(

Has anyone else seen the new History Channel ad with Cleopatra, Marc Antony, and Octavian (not to mention a couple of slaves?). Holy Hannah, I can't believe they did that! I guess the TPTB revised their notion of their audience. I can't stop laughing. :-)

Perhaps I'm trying too hard to write some porny stuff, which isn't a natural thing for me - but all I can think about at the minute are aspects of the social ecology of LJ I really dislike - most of which apply to my thoughts on society in general. Posted the first bit of my D/V to daniel_vala. For those who don't me well, my failure to write the fic I'm thinking about is legendary. However, this one is all roughed out, and it's just a PWP, so I might actually crank this one out. Anyway, beta comments are welcome. Critique doesn't inhibit me from writing - only sheer laziness does. :-p
