Fanfic: Night Court 2

Mar 03, 2009 21:22

Another one that just kinda slides into the cracks between the main happyverse storyline. Bob and June Wheeler were recurring characters on Night Court (Bob was played by Brent Spiner) and they were freakin' hilarious. The 'transexual' gag is a direct ref back to one of their stunts. They were.....not good con artists XDDD ( Read more... )

but...but.... do you love the fic? *lipwibble* XD

Sir Hopsalot is real, although he does not belong to me and he is not filled with bb pellets (or lead shot or Kryptonite - yes, in another uni, there is a version of Sir Hopsalot that can bring down Superman :3 ) He has, however, been used as a weapon. Personally I think the grandmaster of Little Bunny-Fu Fu is made of awesome and win.

I love playing with those sorts of ethical, moral and legal questions. I never have any solid answers, but I do like playing around in the murk.

I'm glad you enjoyed it so much ^___^

(Sir hopsalot is filled with dense beanies of some kind... okay if it is leadshot or bbpellets I couldn't say for sure because Sir Hopsalot is an invincible protector and has yet to be harmed through any of the valiant protection he has given to me over the years)

*hugs the fic*

Barry has way more of a stick up his ass in this verse, I've noticed.

Well, no, let me rephrase that -- Flash does. Barry was always more of a stick than Flash.

Partly how I remember him, partly refreshed by research and thinking "dear god, he really is a prick sometimes isn't he" and partly me being That Way ^___^;;; I never liked Barry (research reminded me of why) and I like Piper and Trickster, so yeahhhhhhhhh being a bit mean to him. Bad fanfic author, no butter tart.

Hey, it's your universe. Besides, the fact that Wally is a little more aware that Barry has his foibles at this point in this reality makes his (Wally's) character development accelerate somewhat. Barry wasn't perfect -- but in the comic canon, to Wally he must have seemed that way, in comparison to Wally's dad. *sigh*

....Heeeey. You know, if you were to write a thing where Piper and maybe Trickster, too, were to teach Rudolph West a lesson.... I'd be happy about that.

Barry had his good points. As even my Piper pointed out once, single-minded determination does have its uses ^_^ Barry was a good role-model for Wally and measuring himself against that yardstick made Wally a better hero. That'll remain the case in happyverse.

Hm, that would take extensive research and alas, one of my research sources has been TOSsed >.<

Heh, I remember Bob and June Wheeler. "Yu-go-slavia."

Very funny!

PS, horizontal stripes are awesome. If you can pull them off.

Yep! They were a scream. You just know Tricks has been giving a different, ridiculously obvious alias every time he winds up in Elliot's court. Poor Elliot...

"Wait'll she hears about her brother."

Ah, I miss that show.
