Another one that just kinda slides into the cracks between the main happyverse storyline. Bob and June Wheeler were recurring characters on Night Court (Bob was played by Brent Spiner) and they were freakin' hilarious. The 'transexual' gag is a direct ref back to one of their stunts. Huzzah for the Happy Verse!!! If ONLY real courts and judges worked this way...well only if they came with real life versions of Piper and Trickster ;)
Utterly delightful. As usual. I would pay a sizable amount of money to see Barry brained with that bunny, it's like a Happy Verse version of the 'One Punch.'

I know I'm really bad with commenting but I just had to drop in and say how much I love your fics, always hilarious and squooshy, they just make my life a little better every time I read one! And I am eternally in awe of how you keep them all so in charactor.

*ahem* OMG SIR HOPSALOT! ::snugs:: Mmm Tricksy and katz have been good to you. You smell a touch more metallic than usual.

I love Judge Elliot and like I told you when I first saw this... that tiny detail about Piper's ears it's that extra level of thought that just makes me go OMG and love everything all over because it is such a realistic and possibly devastating problem and the fittingness and near misses because of it. Mm, just love@!

I also like that this judge takes sort of a traffic court approach to criminal justice.

People have observed before that, despite brawling for a hobby, Piper can be laid out by a single punch to the face. You'd think he'd have developed more stamina. So I thought about why. Seeing those images of young Hartley's see-through head and how his cybernetics implant directly into his brain, the conclusions seemed logical: The normal cushioning space was filled with cybernetics and the implants direct the shockwaves directly to his brain, K.O'ing him instantly. Poor schmuck. He had double the reason to be so pissed at James for sucker-punching him at the hotel :-P

I like to believe that there might actually be a judge like this out there somewhere. Yeah I know, I live in a fantasy world...

Physically, he looks like Judge Wapner :-P
