new location.
this blog has moved to a new location. i am considering transferring my livejournal portion, but am hesitant because i can't import comments...and that has been such an integral part of this journal.
livejournal has been fun, but now i must move on to bigger and better things (i.e. things hosted on my own site/server). -
mp3 player disappointment
i'm really glad i didn't put money into my mp3 player. the hard drive mp3 players just seem to be a little too sensitivo for my tastes. perhaps it's because i don't have a good case for it, but really... it's kind of a hassle to use in the car as an auxillary device. unless it sits on the seat, it will skip and the buttons will get pushed (when ( Read more... ) -

cum laude
to graduate cum laude next year, i have to get all As in the majority of my remaing classes (30hrs). cum laude recognizes a cumulative gpa of 3.4-3.79. i can make it....if i just push a little harder. -
a new goal as my current one comes to fruition
as i come to the end of my junior year (finally) and begin looking forward to graduating (Dec. '05), i'm beginning to formulate my next goal.
astrochemistry is the next likely candidate. it's the perfect balance (in my ideal world, anyway) of "where did we come from" and "how does everything work" (at the most granular level).

had my annual review yesterday. i did very well. i friggin' work my ass off at my job since that's about the only way i can halfway enjoy it. my only problem is that everyone else slacking off makes it that much harder to do my job ( Read more... ) -

a dude studying "dude." vg1.
interesting finding since i use dude or man quite frequently with chicks. admittedly, i keep my distance from most people (girls in particular), but using that kind of term still maintains a "cool solidarity." i like that. -

i live in the south, but i don't consider myself FROM the south. and there are many things about the south that i disagree with. but this site has an interesting point of view when it comes to the south. there are a few interesting points amid the mindless rant.
