I just heard on the radio that the Chicago marathon had to be canceled today (after it has started) because of heat.  One person (only 35 years old) died of heat exhaustion!  That is really sad, and quite strange.  It is not warm where I am, and it seems unseasonably warm in Chicago for this time of year.  This struck me because I want to run a ( Read more... )

I have found a connection to my youth.  Cheer Bear was mine.  It was me:  pink with a rainbow...and full of happiness and just pure love.
