wabbitseason couldn't make the Ren Faire last weekend, so we went out and got Reach instead. New canon, squee! Have done the first two campaign missions so far and a ton of solo and co-op Firefight. You don't play the game yourself? That's really interesting! Gives me hope that others could get into this fandom, since a lot of women especially find FPS games kind of intimidating.
And oh yeah with the nostalgia. I'm saving my armor credits to get Cortana's voice. I'm about a quarter of the way there, I think? And John's "did ya miss me?" was just... d'aww, yes, I do!

The Hunters are so annoying and scare me in Reach, it took me ten minutes to rid a pair because I had crap weapons with some skulls activated. The swap over with the melee button was a bit hard to get used to, especially when I decide to play the other Halo games and get confused again XD
I liked some of the game's music, and I totally agree about missing John and Cortana. It just isn't the same, lol
