My favorite is McCain, but that might be purely from growing up in AZ. I may not agree with him 100%, but I respect him more than any politician I can think of. Huckabee scares me, and I'm glad most of the Chuck Norris-ites on WoW are under 18.

I haven't been in a position to follow things too closely, though. Our TV plays tapes and DVDs, and I miss the news. ~pout~ Well, I guess the important part is that I'll be voting this year, and maybe I'll be able to look at all the propaganda online equally and come up with an informed opinion rather than depending on very biased news channels. Maybe.

If you read the more pro end of the blogosphere, you should be fine. :)

BTW, I sent you an email via your gmail account, and haven't heard back. Some things have happened since, and I really need to talk to you now. ARe you free any night this week?

I got it when I was half-asleep heading to bed, if I remember right... I remember making a mental note to get back with you, and then I got distracted. ~cringe~

Tonight I'll be free, and tomorrow night. (And I'll be going back to bed in a few minutes. I had to see Anakin off to school. Gotta love broken sleep.)

Interesting. I grew up in Arizona which is why I would never vote for McCain - he was intensely involved in the Charles Keating/American Continental Corporation disaster.

I took the quiz and I'm most compatible with Obama. Im not voting on the primaries because I dont have any party affiliations but I go more to the left than to the right.
My biggest concern is immigration. It really doesn't affect anybody in my life because as a puertorrican I'm a US citizen but it still affects me indirectly because Im Hispanic and some American people are just plain ignorant and still judging people by the color of their skin not by who they really are.

When I woke up this morning and saw McCain had won, I was really happy for you. :D (Not as happy if Rudy would have won, but still happy that Huckabee did not win.)

p.s. I don't think you should write in Osama if the worse case situation occurs because you may be put on an FBI watch list. ;)

If they watched me, they might just *see* him. And then they'd be fans too. He converts people who don't like cats, it's kinda scary.

I was relieved last night when I saw the initial primary results. Huckabee or Romney just scare me -- Huckabee more because he's just likable enough until you start reading about his views. I took that quiz thing and I had Obama at the top. I want to like him, but the inexperience worries me, especially right now. Do we really need a "learn as you go along" President of the United States now?

And then there's Hilary. *sighs* Nothing mobilizes your party more than her. Now she's showed her sensitive side and what does someone have the nerve to say? "Will she start crying when there's an important crisis to solve?" *shakes head*

How scary is Huckabee? Read this. Holy. Fucking. SHIT.

I give Hillary a pass on the crying this once. Campaigns are horrible things that make Survivor look like a luxury vacation-- most crises actually allow presidents more sleep.

In the event of not-Rudy and not-McCain vs. Edwards, I'd write in my cat.

And hopefully your cat has about an equal shot as anyone from such a lineup.

Well, people *do* find him irresistably adorable, so... :)

So he should at least beat out Edwards - I mean, your cat has beauty *and* brains.

If this is Osama we're talking about, he sadly lacks the latter. Osama has one lonely little brain cell, forever bouncing around his little head playing Pong with itself.

The other two have much more in the way of brains, but people don't usually fall over themselves to hug and pet them. ;)
