PLAYZONE 30 Years in Aoyama [January 7]

NOTE: As usual, Tsubasa had a monopoly on my attention. However, when Tsubasa was offstage, I had a significant interest in anything 4U were doing, as well as Yuma and Yara and, from time to time, Kota from MAD. Everyone else was there, but I couldn't tell you much more than that, and this report reflects that.

It was veeery interesting to read, as usual :)
I'm glad Tsubasa is okay. I just can't stop thinking about him performing and yes, I'm afraid about him collapsing on stage XD
But I keep in my mind that he is strong.
And sad that it's last Playzone (is it really the last? Hey, johnnys, do something with it, I wanted to see it live T___T)

I think he'll be okay. ♡ From what he's said, it sounds like he's focused a lot on figuring out where his strengths and weaknesses lie since he was diagnosed. I'd guess that he'll be keeping in touch with his doctor for the foreseeable future, too, since his job is so physically taxing.

The general consensus among fans in Japan is that Playzone will likely continue in NISSAY Theater near Ginza. As much as I enjoy Playzone, though, I hope that it's only in winter from now on. If given the choice between Playzone and a tour from T&T, I'm always going to go with T&T first, and I'm really hoping for a summer tour this year. ♡

FEEEELINGS! Tsubasa is not just alive, he's even able to dance again. I was scared as hell wondering what it would be like to not see ... no I don't even want to write that. I'm so glad he's able to dance again. Not for myself to watch but because this is one of the most important things in his life. And he is still able to do it. HAPPY!

I also really like Mi Amor and I know at least a few people who prefer 4U's A RA SHI over the original one. Including me~ WAAAAAH FUKU-CHANNNNNNN!!!!!!

I never thought one day I'd be cheering REVENNNNNGGGEEEEE so happily and on such a frequent basis. XD

I think he'll only get better with time - the more he understands what he's capable of, the more he'll feel comfortable, I think. It's just so close to when he was diagnosed, I think he still needs time to process the impact it may have. But he has Takki and his adorable family and his teacup poodle daughter, so he's all set. ♡♡♡

That's true that they didn't make one for last year's winter performance (still mourning the lack) but this might be different since it's the Seriously Last One in Aoyama Theater. They just seem to be giving this one a bit more pomp and circumstance. They've even put up an LED marquis at the front of the theater, and the designs on the decorations are all new and flashy-looking.

Something my friends and I are thinking is that since smoking is a weight suppressant, he might've gained a bit of weight if he stopped. I have my fingers crossed. (Also, he really, really shouldn't smoke around his puppy, so there's that incentive, too.)

I didn't really get to know anything about Yuma until I started going to Playzone every year, so I'm definitely biased in favor of him with 4U. He's got quite the wicked sense of humor on him, but it only seems to show up occasionally. In any case, it's super adorable. What is Yuma right now anyway? He's not debuted but he's not a Junior, right

im glad Tsubasa is okay. he seems very healthy and good. and his dance (as i watch in news' preview) still so powerful.
and i never know his sickness in incurable. poor him ><
i hope he can manage his sleeping time and his activities well. we dont want anything bad happen again to him ><
and what's with "Hide-chan, I'm sorry we couldn't sleep together while I was in the hospital"? are they usually sleep together? is this indirect confession? XDD
and Tatsumi is so cute for trying to help Takki. why Matsu didnt help? he's good in english XD
and i reeeaaalllyy curious which Travis Japan members who did high five with you.

I believe he'll be all right. ♡ He's got a very strong support system around him and I imagine he's going to have a lot of helpful and understanding people surrounding him in the long term. It's really quite cute how much concern all his beloved senpai have shown for his welfare.

Ahaha, considering Tsubasa's said things like, "I had sex with [Takki] in his dressing room," and, "I'll give you my body and my heart for your birthday," then that was actually pretty subtle for him. XD

As for the Travis Japan guy, I think his name was Hiroki?

ah yes. im so happy to hear some report about how almost all of the senpais asked Takki what happened to Tsubasa and how they welcome Tsubasa on JCD. how sweet of them. everyone loves Tsubasa afterall <333

Thank you for writing this report! I'm happy I got to :DDDD and worry a little and then :DDDDDDDD along with you again. Sounds like it was a fun show. I laugh at your descriptions, especially of Juniors. While part of me does wonder who "High Five Junior" is, most of me thinks, "Never change, pinkpapyrus-san!" You're too amusing. XD Thank you again for taking the time to share your experiences.

It was really wonderful to see him healthy again. ♡ He sounds like he's back to his wily self in any case. I think it took him time to accept this as part of his life and a constant obstacle he'll have to face. But he's strong, so I believe he'll handle it beautifully. ♡

I think Travis Japan guy's name was Hiroki. There was a 田 somewhere, maybe? My friend showed me his photo in the pamphlet, but I didn't buy the pamphlet so I can't double-check. Is there a Hiroki? I might just be remembering Uchi since he was in the "Goodbye, Aoyama" VTR. XD

Oh, thanks for answering my curiosity. Yes! There is a Hiroki besides Uchi. With a 田. Nakata! (Let's call him... or maybe just stick with High Five Junior) I don't know the TraJa guys except for the PZ "midokoro check" and stuff. I'm so grateful for that dvd (was it 2012?) where Yuma did the dressing room interviews with everyone. Its helped me enjoy all the following PZs so much.
