I feel like I've had a very indulgent few weeks--in so many ways.

I'm excited to get the new house because it means having a bigger kitchen, which means dinner parties! Also excited about having a nice backyard because I really want to grill! House warming BBQ/carne asada at my place this summer.

Am I a beautiful woman? Of course. Some men fall in love w/ you just based on your beauty. But I like to be able to cook someone into falling in love with me too. Beauty + cooking skills? Irresistible! This recipe is a favorite because everyone loves it and I think its simplicity, spice, and heartiness make it a man-catcher.

I've been cooking meals at home for the last several days and I loooove it. I am not an expert, but learning more and more. I don't have many expenses, but one that routinely goes unchecked is food. I love boots, it's something I get from my dad. I definitely have a cowgirl inside because I swoon at the sight and feel of weathered leather and stitching. I finished the semester! Only one more to go now omg! I can't believe I finished a 30 page paper and took 4 exams in such a short period of time. When I submitted my last final at noon today I was in a strange delirious-but-happy state. Played Sleepwalk by Santo & Johnny on repeat.

I'm so excited to start looking for a house to buy. Our plans are to purchase in roughly 1 year, since by then I will have finished my JD.
