I have been ill today, I have a cold and feel a bit crappy and so didn't go into classes today. It's actually kind of liberating as I feel completely justified in just sitting around in my pyjamas all day for once. My flatmate was very sweet though and brought me back a subway and chocolate to eat for lunch.

I am in LOVE with this episode. For some reason, it managed to combine lighthearted fun (and Jensen did a GREAT job making Dean all main stream weight watchers freaky) with a nudge back to the early times AND still have a plot twist and make this whole thing tie in with the rest of the season and advance the major plot line. Not to mention that I really, really like their approach to giving Dean a heads up. N'aw, you're our saviour type boy but you're too fucked up to be useful, lets give you a nice life and see how you like THAT, eh?

It definitely made me laugh and I did enjoy seeing the boys a bit more like they used to be, actually having some enthusiasm again. I always think it's quite interesting that whenever Dean is offered a normal life (both here and in What is and what never should be) he seems quite happy with it. I mean he accepted it a lot more readily than Sam did, which is a complete reversal from the start of the series.
