“So I hear that they are doing a celebrity edition of Big Brother and you’re going to be on it.” Tommy spoke as he sat down beside Adam.
They were backstage at the last show of their second world tour.
“How did you hear that already? I just got off the phone with my manager. I haven’t agreed to anything yet.” Adam responded.
“Taylor told me. I think he heard it from Sasha who heard it from her girlfriend or her cousin or someone. I guess there’s speculation all over the internet.” Tommy explained.
“News sure does travel fast.” Adam stated with a sigh.
“So are you going to do it?” Tommy asked.
“I don’t know. I was looking forward to some time off. If I agree to do Big Brother, I’d only have like a week off.” Adam said as he rubbed his eyes and leaned back.
“Who else is gonna be on the show?” Tommy inquired as he moved closer to Adam.
“I don’t even know. I didn’t even think to ask. I’m just so tired and focused on this last show. What do you think, Tommy?” Adam questioned as he looked over at him.
“I think you should take the time off. You need a vacation.” Tommy answered as he reached over and rubbed Adam’s shoulder.
“It’s for charity though.” Adam declared as he shifted closer to Tommy.
“So you can do something else for charity after you’ve taken some time off.” Tommy told him as he rubbed both of Adam’s shoulders.
“I think you’re right.” Adam replied as he closed his eyes. “That feels really good by the way.”
“I know something that would feel even better.” Tommy spoke before capturing Adam’s lips for a kiss.
Adam sighed and opened his mouth to the kiss. He could feel the stress and tension just melting away. He kissed Tommy for several minutes before breaking away.
“I want to, baby, but we have to get ready for the show.” Adam told him as they rested their foreheads together.
“I know…Rain check for after the show though?” Tommy inquired before pecking Adam on the lips again.
“Absolutely.” Adam agreed and kissed Tommy again.
Adam gave his all during the show that night. He also made sure to pay extra attention to Tommy. He wanted to make sure that he knew he was looking forward to getting him alone after the show. Tommy gave back as good as he was getting. The audience ate it up.
It was hours after the show before Adam and Tommy were finally alone. There had been a million things to do after the performance. They were so tired that they just collapsed onto the bed together. They fell asleep in each other’s arms.
Early the following morning, Adam was awakened by his cell phone ringing. He looked at the time. It was way too early for someone to be calling. He groaned and reached for the phone. Tommy muttered, rolled over, and buried his head under the pillow.
“This better be important.” Adam declared as he answered the phone.
“Did I wake you?” Kate, his manager, inquired.
“Yes.” Adam replied curtly.
“I’m really sorry about that, but I need answer about Big Brother.” Kate told him.
“No. I just can’t do it right now. I need the time off. I’m going on vacation.” Adam explained.
“Okay…I’ll let them know. I’ll tell them to keep you in mind if they do another celebrity edition some other time.” Kate responded.
“Sounds good.” Adam mumbled as he started to drift off.
“Bye, Adam.” Kate spoke with a smile.
“Bye.” Adam replied as he turned his phone off.
Adam put his phone back on the stand. He rolled over and pulled Tommy into his arms. Tommy snuggled back into his embrace and took his head out from under the pillow. Adam kissed the back of his head and promptly fell back to sleep.
