after a week of orientation, I still have no clue what I'm meant to be doing

In Japan, it is currently Silver Week - a weekend followed by three consecutive public holidays (totally ganked this from wikipedia :p).  Unfortunately, my uni has decided since we are *cough* hard diligent *cough* students, we will not be able to take those days off.  But that doesn't mean we can't enjoy the sales that are on at the moment \o/

clothes, japanese cultural activities, uni life

Awe! Cindy said that she met you like last week! That's pretty fucking awesome you're back in Japan, and that you have a big room. How are you doing? Where is the university you're going to located?

Nice you have a balcony and tiny kitchenette! I'll have to get pictures of my place posted at some point (when I'm done cleaning it up).

And I love the red shoes. I'd totally get myself a pair. I have to save my money now and just spend it on important things like food.

You'll have to visit me in the inaka and stay in my spacious apartment! ;) Those shoes are totally awesome, by the way. I can't find any female shoes that fit me, I had to buy guy's sneakers the other day... though there isn't a lot of choice, even in Himeji.
