i've heard it before...and today i heard it again.

that men can only ever focus on one thing at a time in their life to do it really well. if they try to do more than one thing at a time (career, relationship, etc.) then everything falls apart. is it true?

I've been listening online to a facinating radio show called "This American Life" - it's AWESOME.

The one that got me hooked was Act One of the episode called "The Sanctity of Marriage" (listen from 6 minutes to 30 minutes) which discusses the work of researcher John Gottman. He would film couples for 15 minutes discussing something they disagree ( Read more... )
