So... I write on this thing and everyone can read it?

I don't buy it. That's impossible. And writing in journals is for wimps.

They keep telling me I've been here before, but that's BULLSHIT. I'd REMEMBER something like that wouldn't I? But then Kazahana gave me this sword and it feels like it's mine so I dunno ...What the hell is with this place, I ( Read more... )

Calm down. Everyone goes through this; I know it's bizarre to be born like this, but you'll adjust.

What mutant cat?

HOLY SHIT, YOU CAN READ IT?!

Of course. Everyone can. If you look on the other pages, you should see other people's writing, too.

I THOUGHT YOU WERE PULLING A PRANK ON ME!

How the hell is this even possible?

Hello to you too, sunshine!

It is a lot to take in, but you'll get the hang of things. I'm Cara, by the way!

Hey... uh, I'm Toushi apparently.

This has gotta be the weirdest thing that's ever happened to me. I think.

Nice to meet you.

This place is pretty good at weird, but at least most of the people are decent, so it's not so bad.

Yeah, you too.

That's good to know.

[added a few seconds later] Whaddya mean most? Are there not-so-decent people here?

Hello, Toushi, my name is Fred. Believe it or not, you will get used to the journals very shortly.

Mutant cat? Do you mean one of the talking creatures that have recently started following people?

Hey Fred. I guess I just gotta not be surprised by stuff here. Like Kazahana said, this isn't anything like as weird as waking up with amnesia and covered in goo.

...the what now? Talking animals?!

Good luck with not being surprised; I find myself astonished almost daily.

...I guess not. They appear to be the latest prank of Edenspere, most of the people I have spoken to have one. I myself have a ferret.

But if you don't have one yet, count yourself lucky. They are really more annoy--[Jagged lines and a few scratches that look like they might be made by ferret claws. Pen fight is a go.]

[A few minutes later.]--more annoying than they are helpful.

Why do I get the feeling that being here's gonna end up being one giant headache?

The pets don't speak right? Cause I don't wanna hear whatever this freaky cat's got to say.

A ferret huh?

Hey, Toushi, it's Sky.

I'm not sure ANY of us know what's up with this place, frankly.

Oh hey.

Thanks for helping me out earlier. I appreciate it. Y'know I thought you were kidding when you told me all that stuff. Sorry.

I really can't blame you for thinking that, honestly. If I hadn't been here for so long, I'd still gave trouble believing it.

How long have you been here anyway?

Hey, nice to meet you. does this actually count as meeting someone?

Reply

handy_psychic November 9 2009, 16:29:22 UTC
You too! And I think it counts as meeting someone 'cause you're still saying hello and introducing yourself even though you aren't actually seeing the person you're saying hello to face-to-face, and sometimes you get to know people well over the journals before you ever meet in person and even if not it's still a good way to communicate, don't you think?

pimpcoatbankai November 9 2009, 16:33:52 UTC
...I guess.
