well, now she knows what "walking on air" finally means. she's smiling all the time. and though it's embarrassing as hell, she loves it. she loves him.
they're not like other couples. jieun knows this. it's not that she's being conceited; it's just fact to her. others in the entertainment business have to hide it. they have to keep the relationship a secret from everyone, even close friends, and sometimes even from themselves. and it's not like it wasn't like that at first either. jieun's only ever told suzy, who has a heavier mouth than people think.
"we actually have been on two dates already" says wooyoung on broadcasted television.
okay, so those aren't his exact words. but he might as well have said them. the reaction is, generally, pleasant surprise. jieun even shares a secret high-five and backstage giggle with eunjung afterwards. she sees taecyeon oppa teasing wooyoung in the corner.
"you sure you paid?" he asks wooyoung. "you?"
even jokes like these make jieun feel all toasty and warm inside. because they're kind of like private, inside jokes about wooyoung. but she understands them all. she's laughing too.
"we're the milk couple" jieun tells the reporter. "so we were secretly hoping for a milk commercial to come in..."
and jieun really does hope for it. it means more time with wooyoung. more time for them to be together in public. and she's determined to show everyone that she can be happy and successful as a celebrity with wooyoung by her side.
though she's only nineteen, she isn't stupid. she isn't so blinded that she thinks that wooyoung and her will be together forever, happily ever after. no, she knows that she has her faults. wooyoung certainly has his. but there are times, when wooyoung silently slips his hand into hers that she feels like, with him, she's an even better person than she is alone. it's tough to give-up and tough to imagine that feeling being ephemeral.

"what is it this time?" suzy asks, tilting her head to match jieun's.
"oh nothing" jieun replies. "just."
"just?"
"how do you know when you're too happy?"
suzy laughs aloud and calls wooyoung over.
"why don't you talk it over with this guy? he's the one with experience in that field."
