Well you know, if I had the money and didn't have to go to school in Michigan, I might.

And there is an option to edit your post, I think.

sounds to me like you are having somewhat the same thought as me, which is that you should have gone away to college rather than settling for crappy commuter campus UMD.

I'm sure that definately would have helped me in some way, even if I went to a shit-tastic school like Michigan Tech or Grand Valley. It would have put me in the situation I was in last year (JR year of college) but only when I was a FR. In essense it would have given me 2+ years of meeting new people, trying new things, and generally having fun.

Now that I'm nearing completion of my BS, I honestly don't see myself wanting to stick around. The fact that if I have a decent amount of money, I can pick up and move to wherever I want to be it Milwaukee, Seattle, Austin, or Toronto. All that really matters if I can actually use my BS to secure a job.

But would that be just more of what's happening now? I mean, I really want to see and live in those cities and once I get "settled down" with a steady job I won't be as mobile as I am now. But if I do leave, I will have absolutely zero friends and will make even fewer friends wherever I go. It's just the kind of person I am: I don't make friends easily.
