Pain is certainly not good thing to feel... though, I could to point out that nearly two years ago I had got several knife wound from a specialist, so to say. So, the funny thing that my nerve on the leg had got damaged and I didn't feel foot for a year... It was not paintful but scary a lot... to get invalid, do not have opportunity to run as ussual. Anyway, I made a prothesis and walk, walk and walk. After some months I started to use rubber boots, during the hot summer months as well which had made a lot of surprises around... Now, the leg is nearly working well back.

About your trip... It is of course up to you to visit your gf relatives but it is still better to have someone wishing to run somewhere with you... and someone to visit as well than to sit home alone... as it for me but of course I couldn't cal myself very active lately especially sitting with my one year new son...
