the coloured drawing was from a live model in life drawing, which i later turned into prints

i called it after the book of henry miller, "under the roofs of paris". the other prints were named after his other books, "sexus", "nexus", "plexus" and "crazy cock"

yes, i believe he is perplexed, not knowing what emotion
and so this is the human condition, paradoxical at best

the title "embarrassed cock" is interesting
i believe you are alluding to the ripe colour,
like a red nose drunk, with a swollen member..
which shines out in public and embarrasses the owner
remember in russian, red is meaning beautiful !!
