Nope, I think it just means that you notice the more realistic relationships in a drama rather than the obvious ones that are aimed at fandom. I don't think this is a bad thing, I often do the same D:

They're just so much more interesting that the "proper" pairing. I found it especially forced in Deka Wanko. I'll just have to write my frustrations out into bad fic. *nods*
