The ChallengeThe challenge this month is to use your picspam to illustrate a song or music piece with your fandom. The idea is that you find a way to illustrate concepts, scenes, pairings or character from your fandom through music or vice versa. For example: you can spam your favorite ship, so you find a song that fits them

Can the songs only be in mp3 format?

Definitely no. As long as you have a link for your music to be heard, it doesn't matter the format.

Just asking since I know I have some m4as lying around in case I picked those.

I think m4as can only be played on the account of the original user, if that makes sense. That's how it's always been with me (it's the default format of the iTunes store and from uploaded/burned CD's). But you can find m4a-to-mp3 converters online pretty easily which is handy.

I could be wrong about that, though! It's just how it's always been for me.

Just a quick question though, say I choose the Kings of Leon album Only By the Night, do I have to stick to only one fandom to illustrate each song, or can I choose a different fandom for each song?

Yes, you may use multiple fandoms.
