So last Thursday I finished my dissertation.  Then I crashed.  Unfortunately it's not the whole story because I hadn't really finished it so much as got it into submittable form early.  There were still going to be final corrections and tweaks, and I still had to get it over to Aberystwyth.  Still, I had got to that point a week earlier than

You're clearly not aware that things with GenConUK are a bit up in the air at the moment and its future is kind of uncertain at present.

On a different subject, you appear to have made the entire end of your post into a link to an LJ User but it hasn't wrapped, instead it's done it as one huge unreadable line. (Well, you can read it, it's just too long to bother trying to read and keep track of on a Friends page. ;-) )

Fixed. I hit the wrong button when composing and the WYSIWYG viewer didn't show an error.

And yeah, I have no idea what's happening with the convention scene. This was an unresearched plan :p
