Arthur is still a twat, but he's certainly an entertaining, charismatic one. I can see why Merlin likes him. He's allowed access to a vulnerable, sweet Arthur that not everybody gets to see. It's a kind of intimacy that's fueling Merlin's terrible crush on the other boy.

With all the drinking these two do, I'm surprised Merlin has been able to keep from furtively touching Arthur. He's obviously got some self control. I hope it serves him well during his holiday with the Pendragons.

His self-control will be sorely tested during the holiday with the Pendragons I fear!

I breezed through all five parts of this with a smile on my lips and delight in my heart, because it's so so good! I love basically everything - the dialogue (flows like water), the characterization (keeping enough of them from the show to make them recognizable and yet fleshing them out and making them three-dimensional and believable in this world), and also the setting! To someone like me Cambridge seems terribly exotic, love the insight in this world :)

I'll be hanging around for more!

What a lovely comment! Thank you so much. I'm enjoying the nostalgia of writing Cambridge. The new part is up now and I'm hoping to finish it next weekend :)

What a delight to discover this wonderful story - it captivated me for the afternoon. I loved the roles you have cast each of the characters into - a unique take on the characters, a bit different from the same-old university stories.

I am in equal parts adoring the story, and devastated that there is not more. I realized when you last updated, I was just discovering the show as it aired for the first time in Canada. I'm so very grateful to you for continuing the story so that I could discover it as well. Please accept all my encouragement to continue on - can't wait for the next update.
