....is that of the happily snarky music student. I discovered this at "chapel" this morning, which wasn't so much chapel as...let us introduce these (55, I think?) Homecoming Queen candidates to you, tell you about Mass Meeting, and then let you go really early. (Well, that part made me happy.)

Freshman Mass Meeting is this Thursday. I'm not going.

I would recommend going to Freshman Mass Meeting. Lowdown: it's not the most amazing thing ever, but it's a good way of understanding the significance of Homecoming to Baylor (esp. since we invented it, and it's the 100th anniversary). As I recall, it only lasts about an hour, and it may be shorter since there is no Eternal Flame to guard this year. It'll help make this whole funny Homecoming business make much more sense - at least it did for me.

Yeah, I would, but I'm already flirting with the edge of serious exhaustion, so I think I'm probably not going to go- since they told us that after the meeting we had to build the bonfire, and that's the part that would take forever. :/

I might go, I might not. It all depends.
