Okay music students who aren't in the FSU flute studio, I need your help. What are some good books you've read for studio/lessons/anything related to music that you read on your own?

Galamian's Principles of Violin Playing and Teaching. It is basically the Bible of violinists written by the god of violin pedagogy and while a lot of it is violin related, a lot of it can also be applied to any instrument and to musicianship in general. It talks about performance practice and practicing, etc. I loved it, and while I probably wouldn't buy it if I were you, it's definitely worth perusing from a library (or from me if you're ever home and want to borrow it)
