I was going to lock this, but seeing as how LiveJournal has no scruples about showing up where they're not wanted -- fuck it. At this point, it's pretty much a sure thing I'm canceling my paid account and moving to a new blog site in the coming months ( Read more... )

Ugh, when it rains, it pours huh? It's so frustrating when everything unawesome starts coming up at once. Hopefully everything gets sorted out soon. ♥

Also, WTF LiveJournal? Besides that ridiculously infuriating mess, I've been unhappy with the state of LJ as of late. It just isn't the same. Looks like I'll be packing my bags, too. Do you have any good blog sites in mind?

To be honest, I still could've made it to Joann's, but my car breaking down completely took the wind out of my sails. Ironically, later that afternoon I got a flier in the mail about a youth to adult transitioning program that helps with education, career, becoming independent and so on. Maybe they can set me up with better job prospects since I want to move out by next fall. *crosses fingers*

I'm splitting between a paper journal for more personal/day-to-day stuff and Blogspot for all the creative nonsense I'm dying to do, like poetry and collages. :)
Like I told another friend, LiveJournal's been circling the toilet for years now and this invasion of privacy by a staff member is the last nail in the coffin for me. Though I've been posting here since the site's inception, I don't feel sad or hesitant about going. It actually feels quite natural.

But hey, you and I still gotta keep track of each other. ♥

Keep us posted on where you're going!

It sucks to run out of meds D= I hope that means you can just chill at home.

WordPress is the winner, but I haven't set up shop there yet -- I'm trying to come up with a title I like, something that encompasses my interest in vintage/bohemian fashion, silent starlets, Victorian ghost stories and legends, electronica music, art and so on.

Thankfully I have no major commitments between now and the end of the month, so I've at least spared myself that stress. That's just time I can devote to getting my blog started. :)

Also, to remark on something you said to me in your journal, I've thought about taking a break from Facebook as well. I need to wean myself off the computer for a little while. Fall is coming and I don't want to miss it!
