Today had a few significant highs, and a few significant lows. The highs included sounding awesome at the mini-tour today with the marching band; the lows included feeling lousy at rehearsal today and dissatisfied with my performing. Nonetheless, it's proved positive overall.
All the awesome elements of today included:
+ Domino's Pizza and CinnaSticks for dinner
+ Seeing the premier of "High School Musical" on Disney
+ Knowing that today is a Friday, with the weekend and
AMBER PACIFIC concert ahead of me
+ Touring to Edna Hill, Knightsen, and Byron to do the "mini-tour" of the Performing Arts
+ Using Mr. Galbraith's Apple iPod Video, which now makes me want one*
+ Bumping some loud tunes through his car speakers with seven others inside while waiting to perform
+ Taking 170 awesome pictures and videos today
* I simply needed reassurance as to how the physical product worked and felt, since I never really got to fool around with a 6th G iPod. Considering the $299 price tag for a 30 GB player, that displays pictures and videos, I'm highly considering one within the next month or so. Once I get my license, I'll buy a cassette adapter, so I can listen to the tunes in the car while driving, and it'll be almost as cool as red jello.
I must be off to practice now, and then to go to bed, for tomorrow Lucas is picking me up bright and early at 8:30 AM, so we can go to the jazz ensemble rehearsal. It starts at 10:00 AM and will probably last until noon. I'm actually really excited for it, to be with this elite group of musicians. I better rehearse some of the several pieces we'll be playing tomorrow! Take care, friends.
