Well, I got up and took the long trip to that Wal*Mart for my interview. It went... surprisingly well, I think! Some of the questions I was asked had me scrambling for intelligent replies. It was a lot of example stuff- like 'what have you done that demonstrates this and etc'. I fumbled my words and had to take some time to think now and then, but

You might luck out and be able to carpool with someone there home. Just pass it along, asking if anyone lives or drives past the road so and so.

But, yeesh, why do they all want you to give up the laptop? You paid for it, net and all. That's absurd!
