I thought this could be heaven or this could be hell. She lit up a candle and she showed me the way.

Sally wasn't sure what she had been expecting when she let the DI, DI Drake, lead her across the street to what seemed like the only lit building on the block. It looked like a restaurant, maybe a pub, and it wasn't until they drew closer that Sally could make out the lettering on the side, Luigi's.

It wasn't a chain, and it certainly wasn't around in her time, or she'd certainly remember it. She was fairly familiar with this part of town, she hadn't been living far from here herself before she'd moved in with Larry. She'd had a small flat to herself after she'd finished university, she'd only lived there a year. It was nice, it was also almost unbearably lonely.

She shook off the grim memories, dark times brought on dark thoughts, which was not something she needed right now. She wrapped her arms about herself briefly, trying to think positive, she'd only been here a few hours, there was still plenty of time...the Doctor wouldn't just leave her here. He'd find her...eventually.

She wasn't sure what she'd been expecting, but what she sure wasn't expecting was to step through the door DI Drake opened in front of her and see what looked like half the Met huddled around a table. Sally almost froze instinctively.
