Knee sounds like a major ouch. Hope everything goes well. My brother and one of my best friends have had both knees done in the past couple of years. They said recovery was rough, but once you get through it, it's way better. Best wishes that everything goes smoothly.
Good luck on MSV as well. You have about as many words as I do so far. I need to get cracking!

Hope your knee surgery goes well. Sounds like you've done some good prep for post surgery difficulties - and good neighbours are a boon!
Getting it sorted now will hopefully see you well on the mend as the weather improves. Not sure about the climate where you are but I'm imagining it's colder right now.
