Thanks, darling. I have come a long way and still have a long way to go on my goals but it does feel good.

*huggles* Thanks for your comment.

Thanks, doll! I find him really inspirational. I also love his site. It has good resources etc. He is a foodie extraordinaire. :)

He just fits into my own goals...I do agree with him.

I actually watched that tonight... first time I'd ever seen or heard of it. I was so impressed, and I got really into the show! I hope everything works out for him the way he so badly hopes it will. I think it's so incredibly important!
I'm glad you shared with us your weight loss 'secrets', I am going to write those down and try it myself. Won't hurt a thing, obviously.

I should probably edit my post. I did them a little at a time...adding one at a time. So it was not all at once. My doc really did mean me to do this in little steps so that is what I did. So you can pick one thing to work on and just do that...it is easier that way. And then, go on to the next thing. Then it is not painful. I am not into pain.

Now, I find I really enjoy figuring out how I can eat well and make it taste good. *hugs*

I think Jamie Oliver really does care about people. That is why he will make a difference.

I honestly don't think you need to edit your post, I easily understood that each step was added one at a time, bits each at a time. I'm glad it had such a great effect on you, that gives me hope.
And yes, I agree with you 100% about Jamie Oliver. He's doing some amazing things to make this world a better, happier, and much healthier place. :)

It was daunting when I first started but now I am in much better shape than I was. It seems like I can do this. :) Thanks for commenting!

It is amazing what he's doing... when he first started appearing on TV over here I wasn't impressed, but he's grown on me, lol. And I appreciate what he's done - with Aedan going to school in just a couple of years, I like knowing I can let him have school dinners and they'll be nutritional.

Hey, how much pepsi a day were you drinking when you stopped? I drink 1 can of cola/dr pepper a day, but I'm considering dropping it! I got a slightly unpleasant shock when I measured myself the other day, so... diet time!

I drank 1-2 a day so I bet if you dropped it you would notice a change. It is loaded with calories. Not to mention the sugar on your teeth. I switched to diet because I like the fizz but now I would like to drink just water. That is better. I am trying to drink more tea and less soda. And loads more water. That is the best thing.

I think he did a good thing in the UK and that it is good for parents sending kids to the schools. I hope he does that for the States.
