So I was thinking about it, as I finally had a talk with my mom about the whole Dan thing, and the whole mess with my Orlando friends...

The reason Dan can't pick things out for me when he's out and about -- it s because< he doesn't know me well enough on a personal level 1: because we didn't go on enough dates, or have valuable one-on-one time.

Sounds like a situation I went through. Girls like you are underappreciated by us guys sometimes. I learned a lot, but the most important stuff I learned much after the relationship. Some guys aren't willing to admit they make mistakes, or to put themselves into compromising positions. It's unfair, really it is. As for trying in a relationship, I learned that the best way to treat a girl (once you got her) is to remember all the little things. And even better, is to use those little things to spring up surprises on her. There's usually a reason why you girls are doing it to us. It's to show us you care, and after a while, to show us you want the same treatment.

And yeah, you do deserve someone who will treat you right. Not just saying it, you really put a lot of heart into someone when you sacrifice yourself for them, it's only fitting you get it back.
